“Helping each student experience the pleasure of playing and making music through the piano.”

Daniela Donaudi

No two students are alike. Age, interests, personality, level and available time shape a genuinely individual path.

  1. 01

    Getting to know each other

The first step is to build trust, understand goals and potential, and establish the right dialogue.

  2. 02

    Spark curiosity

Repertoire becomes discovery: sound, reading, composers and the remarkable mechanism of the piano.

  3. 03

    Build rigour

For academic paths: theory, technique, repertoire and focused preparation for exams and competitions.

Profile

An education that combines gesture, history and musical thought.

Daniela Donaudi at the beginning of her career

A vocation that began at the age of eight.

Graduating with top marks from the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory in Venice, Daniela Donaudi continued her studies with Ugo Amendola, Maria Tipo and Lydia Rocchetti, while also deepening her analysis of piano composition with Piero Rattalino.

Alongside her concert activity as a soloist and chamber musician, she earned a degree in History and Music Criticism from Ca’ Foscari University, graduating with honours with a monographic thesis on the Venetian composer Ugo Amendola.

She has recorded for RAI and curated guided-listening programmes and music reports. She teaches piano at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory and lectures in History and Technology of the Piano in first- and second-cycle courses.

The legacy of Ugo Amendola

Living memory, not static celebration.

An interpreter of numerous works by Amendola, including several world premieres, Daniela Donaudi has studied and communicated his music through concerts, research and public scholarship. She also founded the “Ugo Amendola” Piano Competition, which later became international.
